Stage 0 Return Fuel System Kit
The stage 0 kit is our latest system for the VQ35DE Z & G cars. This is an entry level system that is the bare essentials for converting the car to a return fuel system with a vacuum/pressure referenced regulator. A referenced return fuel system is key for maximizing the efficiency of your fuel pump and injectors, and it also aids in equalizing fuel distribution to each injector.
This system uses the same regulator setup, -6 return hose, and return correction kit that our stage 1/2/3 kits use. This means that you can purchase just the required components to upgrade your system later without having to junk an entire system.
The difference between this kit and our stage 1 is the feed plumbing and rails. With the stage 0 kit, the factory 5/16 plumbing is 100% utilized and untouched. The factory rails are also left in place. This kit comes in by replacing the dampner on the rear of the driver side rail with our exclusive fitting that acts as a pressure regulator outlet. Then there is a short -6 hose that runs to the inlet of the regulator, and then the return line back to the return correction kit inside the fuel pump assembly.
Every hose in the kit has crimped fittings on Teflon hoses. By adding a stainless steel braiding to the hoses to increase pressure tolerance and protect the lines, and rubber coating on most lines to protect your vehicles components and wiring harness from the abrasion of stainless braiding, we have actually exceeded OEM quality.
This system utilizes a "return correction", which is a vital modification kit for the fuel pump assembly which allows you to convert to a RFS but still retain the factory venturi siphons. These siphons are absolutely required in order to use the entire volume of fuel in the tank (rather than half), and allow the swirl can to properly function.
We highly recommend the Walbro GSS342 fuel pump upgrade with our system, which is optional with your Stage 0 purchase. For injectors we recommend DeatschWerks. Rail spacers are also available in our catalog for taller than factory injectors. With these additions, you're set!
