CJ Motorsports 350z - 2003 6MT Track Edition

Updated: 1/19/09
Current Status: Winter Storage
Running Status: Not Running (Being used for intake manifold fitment)
Highest Dyno: 573rwhp at 14psi in 2005. Never dyno'd at higher boost.
Quickest ET: 11.6 @ 10psi in 2005. Blew headgaskets on AEBS sleeves.

Purchased new in 2003, it went into immediate testing at the original CJ Motorsports performance shop.

It was one of the first twin turbo 350s in the USA. It was the first stateside 350z to run the HKS FCON V Pro, making it the first non-full-race-effort 350z in the US to run a standalone EMS. It was the first to get the CJM fuel system, which is now on hundreds of 350s. September of 2004 it made the stock engine HP record at 467rwhp SAE corrected dynojet at 9psi. The record stood for quite a while, as its considered by most to be beyond the limits of the factory 35DE, though the engine never failed. The car contains several one-off modifications that were considered for CJM production efforts. In 2005 it was used to test an AEBS sleeved block, which had immediate headgasket problems and was replaced with a factory sleeved block.

For 2009 it is being converted into a full effort competition vehicle.
